Experience Santa’s Hotel Tunturi close to a Lappish Forest
A unique hotel renowned for its friendly service, with an excellent choice of rooms and suites, including the Gielas wing and renovated Kontio Suites.
The accommodation is set over a number of buildings close by to a charming forest area near the cross-country ski trails, an easy 2-3 minutes from the main Tunturi building. This is where your buffet breakfast and dinner will be served, including your festive Gala Dinner on your final evening. Listen out for live music in the evenings to relax too.
You’ll find both budget friendly family bedrooms in the hotel and modern, luxury rooms in the Gielas wing and the renovated Kontio building, all with a private bathroom, sauna and balcony.
Santa’s Hotel Tunturi is centrally located in Saariselka, close to traditional Lappish shops, Finland’s longest toboggan run and the hire shop, for your complimentary thermal suites.
The Santa’s Holiday Club leisure centre is also just 5 minutes away (500m), which features a family friendly pool and slides, accessible for a small fee paid locally. It costs €2 to use their toboggans to get out on the snow for some slippery slidey fun.

It was the trip of a lifetime, absolutely loved our time in Lapland, feel so blessed. Our son’s highlight was meeting Santa - he had his ACTUAL letter he posted back in October!! Non-stop fun - huskies, riding skidoos, tobogganing, reindeer sleigh rides, elf shows, and lots of ginger biscuits. The memories will stay with me forever spending precious time with my family.
