Family Apartments (Type C)There's an extra twin bedroom here, so 2 bedrooms total. The separate lounge has a double sofa-bed as well. Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type D)The Gielas family bedroom has 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for 1 grown-up or 2 children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment), sauna, balcony, satellite TV, hairdryer, and everything you need for tea, coffee and cocoa. Located in a separate building, the Gielas has its own bar and restaurant. You'll have breakfast here, with all other meals being located in the main Tunturi restaurant.SLEEPS 2-4 -
Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type E)More spacious than a Type D with 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for 1 grown-up or 2 children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom, (with bath and shower attachment), sauna, balcony, satellite TV, hairdryer, and everything you need for tea, coffee and cocoa. Gielas has its own bar and restaurant you'll have breakfast here, with all other meals in being in the main Tunturi restaurant building.SLEEPS 3-4 -
Four Room Apartments (Type F)These have all the same features as the Type C Family Suites, just with an extra bedroom. It has 3 bedrooms in total and they are on 2 different levels.SLEEPS 6-8 -
Five-Bedroom Apartments (Type G)For big families with big dreams of seeing Santa. 5 twin bedrooms plus sofa-beds for 3 in the lounge area. It even has a private sauna and hot tub. The kitchen has a stove, kettle, microwave and fridge.SLEEPS 10-13 -
Kontio Deluxe Bedrooms (Type M)Spacious and newly renovated rooms in the Kontio building, close to the main Tunturi restaurant. Kontio Suites (Type N)The recent renovation has worked wonders, the suites are roomy (bigger than the deluxe bedrooms) and stylish. Experience Santa’s Hotel Tunturi close to a Lappish Forest
This unique hotel is located amidst snowy forest surroundings. It boasts a captivating atmosphere with welcoming public areas adorned with wood panels, delectable cuisine and cosy rooms for a comfortable stay.
The main Tunturi building is home to the reception and three restaurants with all bedrooms and apartments in separate buildings close by. This includes the superior Gielas building which houses its own bar and restaurant for breakfast and the newly renovated Kontio building, just opposite the main Tunturi buiding.
The accommodation is close by to a charming forest area near the cross-country ski trails, an easy 2-3 minutes from the main Tunturi building. This is where your buffet breakfast and dinner will be served, including your Festive Dinner on your final evening. Listen out for live music in the evenings too.
You’ll find both budget friendly family bedrooms in the hotel and modern, luxury rooms in the Gielas wing and the renovated Kontio building, all with a private bathroom, sauna and balcony.
The hotel is centrally located with ample opportunities for tobogganing nearby. It costs €2 to use their toboggans to get out on the snow for some slippery slidey fun.
